The Farm

Spring, Summer, and Fall our chickens are raised on pasture and fed a local organic feed.  They are housed in small groups and moved around the pasture in mobile coops.  In the Winter, our chickens are housed together where they forage the remains of that year’s garden.  The flock has 150+ happy members consisting of Buff Orpington, Maran, Ameraucana, Pearl White, Speckled Sussex, and Australorp chickens.

Our hives consist of Italian Honey Bees and bees native to Indiana.  The hives are never treated with chemicals or fumigants as we use an integrated pest management system to deter pests in the hive.  Our bees forage in pastures, woods, and other surrounding areas to build their colonies, and ultimately, our pure raw honey!

Our garden spans over 5,000 square feet and is home to several hundred plants including tomatoes, peppers, squash, and more.  We use organic seeds and soil to make the healthiest possible plants.  Each seed is hand sown and cared for until the end product - tasty and nutritious produce for you and your family to enjoy!
